Short Stories
Magazines that have printed my stories. One is available online. The rest are print issues.
My first published story, Beef, is in All Possible Worlds #2. Unfortunately, that’s the magazine’s last issue. There are great stories in those pages, including one from Mary Robinette Kowal. Get them while you can!
Withersin is by far one of my favorite magazines of all time. They are weird, wild, and interesting. Fiction, fact, interviews with rock and rollers, scream queens, writers, weirdos… It’s in there. I love Withersin and so will you. They’ve published two of my stories so far, Red and Black, and a non-fiction piece called Time in the Desert. Sculpting is coming out in their Arsenic Issue in 2010.
The Edge of Propinquity: Cats and Dogs and Maybe a Pig
I really had fun with this story. TEoP is an interesting site. Editor and contributing writer Jennifer Brozek rocks your netherworld. She’s an excellent superstar.
Furniture Fangs: Junie (this short is in a limited edition zine by Cameron Pierce!)
Cameron hand-drew illustrations for each issue. Have you met Cameron? Have you read his most excellent book, Shark Hunting in Paradise Garden? You should do both as soon as possible. You should also see him throw meat. He is a master.
Upcoming:
Revenant Magazine will print my zombie story, West of Weston in issue #1
